A laser power offset detecting method and a laser power setup method using the same are provided to prevent abnormal offset detection due to impulse noise by determining offset only when the driving voltage continuously increases. A laser power offset detecting method comprises a step of increasing the input voltage and measuring the driving voltage according to the input voltage(S20), a step of calculating the difference between the measured driving voltage and the driving voltage previously measured(S30), a step of determining the offset of laser power based on whether the driving voltage increases, a step of measuring the laser power for specific input voltage, and a step of calculating the relation between the input voltage and the laser power by using the measured laser power and the offset. |
