A flow rate sensor calibrating apparatus and a flow rate measurement method are provided to activate an output unit of a high-speed sensor in a predetermined period to minimize power consumption and correctly measure an instantaneous flow rate. A flow rate sensor calibrating apparatus includes a low-speed flow rate measurement sensor(110) and a high-speed flow rate measurement sensor(120). The apparatus activates the high-speed flow rate measurement sensor in a predetermined period to acquire instantaneous flow rate information and transmits the instantaneous flow rate information. |
