An antimicrobial composition comprising a sprouting bean extract is provided to regulate secretion of sebum, to prevent hypercornification and formation of comedon and to prevent and treat excellently pimple. An antimicrobial composition includes a sprouting bean extract to active ingredient. The sprouting bean extract is manufacture by using water, alcohol of 1 to 5 of carbon number, propylene glycol, 1,3- butylene glycol or a mixed solvent as extraction solvent. An antimicrobial composition has antibacterial activity against one selected from a group consisting of escherichia coli, salmonella typhimurium, staphylococcus aureus, candida bacteria, soil mold or propionibacterium acne. The antimicrobial composition is used in medicine, health food or a cosmetic composition. An anti-inflammation composition comprises the sprouting bean extract.
