A BACK LIGHT UNIT

A backlight unit for illuminating a key input unit is provided to prevent leakage of light toward a side and to improve luminance at a local dark part of the key input unit by using flexibility as an easily flexible property and an optimum light-transmitting function. A light-emitting unit(22) provides light to a light guide plate(20). A key pad is positioned on an upper surface of the light guide plate. A PCB(Printed Circuit Board)(10) is installed at a lower surface of the light guide plate. A light guide pattern part(24) includes a pattern formed on the upper surface or the lower surface to emit the light at a key position. An inductive pattern is engraved on the upper surface or the lower surface of the light guide plate. A sectional surface of the inductive pattern includes an optical path induction pattern(70) having an interval angle to shield the loss of the light to the outside and to provide a traveling path of the light.
