A connection method of a Bluetooth system for vehicles is provided to enable a data transceiving unit within a vehicle to form a piconet to establish a connection with an AP which is an external communication system outside the vehicle, and enable a handsfree unit to form a scatternet which is a chain communication structure for connecting a cellular phone. An AP(150) becomes a master and a Bluetooth integrated unit(120) becomes a slave so that a piconet can be connected between the AP and Bluetooth integrated unit. At this time, the Bluetooth integrated unit and a cellular phone(130) are not connected. The Bluetooth integrated unit becomes a master and the cellular phone becomes a slave through the change of a role so that a temporal piconet can be connected between the Bluetooth integrated unit and cellular phone.
