A pointing device and an electronic device equipped with the same are provided to realize a slim size by mounting a sensor unit to a substrate area under an empty space of a mediating medium. A magnetic unit(300) is installed on a substrate(100). A mediating member(200) moves, rotates, and restores the magnetic unit by including an internal space. A sensor unit(600) is mounted on an upper area of the substrate and generates an output signal by detecting movement of the magnetic unit. A central unit(210) is combined to the magnetic unit. A plurality of patterns(220) moves, rotates, and restores the central unit. A supporter(230) is fixed on the substrate at one end of the pattern units. An operation member(400) moves the magnetic unit by motion of a user. |
