A gutter outlet (10) is disclosed. The gutter outlet (10) has a connecting portion (14) for attachment to a base wall of a gutter, and a downpipe connector portion (13). The downpipe connector portion has at least one pair of spaced apart planar, substantially parallel sidewalls (15) and a pair of shaped sidewalls (16), the downpipe connector portion (13) adapted to allow attachment of various cross-sectional shaped downpipes to at least some of the sidewalls.
