The utility model relates to the detector signaling bands meant for safe exploitation of gas distribution systems.The detector signaling band consists of a brightly coloured polymer strip with a built-in therein and insulated conductor in the form of a metal foil. The foil is made of soft metal, its width L being determined according to formula L=(2,5à4,0)/h, where h û the foil thickness, covered within the limits of 0,02<=h<=0,20 mm. The conductor may be made of several foil layers.
