Disclosed is an immunostimulatory composition, comprising: an isolated RNA oligomer 5-40 nucleotides long having a base sequence comprising at least one guanine (G) and at least one uracil (D), wherein the base sequence: (a) comprises 5'-RDRGY-3', wherein R represents purine, U represents uracil, G represents guanine, and Y represents pyrimidine; (b) comprises 5'-GDAGD 3', wherein A represents adenine; (c) comprises 5'-GDAGDGU-3'; (d) comprises 5'-GDDGB-3', wherein B represents D, G, or C, wherein C represents cytosine; (e) comprises 5'-GDGUG-3'; (f) comprises 5'-GDGUUUAC-3'; (g) comprises 5'-GUAGGCAC-3'; (h) comprises 5'-CDAGGCAC-3'; (i) comprises 5-CUCGGCAC-3'; (j) is free of CpG dinucleotide; (k) is at least 50 percent self- complementary; or (I) is a G, U-rich RNA, and any combination thereof; and further comprising an antigen. Also disclosed are uses of said composition in the manufacture of medicaments. |
