Disclosed is a torque relief system useful for protecting inner combustion engines with clutch and mechanisms coupled thereto, which includes insulating springs or rubbers, coils, a switch and a lever arm. The protection system is activated when the engine in operation faces a resistance, either abrupt or increased, the engine diverting from the vertical position thereof since it is supported over the springs or rubbers which at one side portion of the engine are pressed and at the remaining side portion thereof are stretched due to the torque at which the engine is subjected, thus provoking the engine to be tilted. Said tilting causes the lever to press the switch when a torque higher than the pre-established limit appears, thus sending an electric signal to the coils that actuate the clutch, disconnecting the engine and releasing it from the high torque. |
