The zero order up-sampling interpolation CIC filter (zero-degree upsampling CIC(Cascaded Integrator Comb) filter) is provided to obtain the same performance as the conventional cascaded integrator comb filter by using unit Integrator and unit Comb filter of (N-1)s without up-sampler. The CIC interpolation filter comprises the Comb filter section(120) having unit Comb filters of the integrator part(110) and (N-1) having unit integrator of (N-1). The Comb filter section is combined with the zero order sampler(130) for performing the zero order up-sampling. The transfer function of the CIC interpolation filter is same as that of the transfer function of the cascaded integrator comb filter of (N-1) order. The cascaded integrator comb filter of the first order generates the null in the frequency of image in interpolation. The comb filter having L of 1 tap coefficient of the Zero-Padding up-sampler are combined and the zero order up-sampling is performed in the cascaded integrator comb filter. |
