The method involves installing a selected number of hooks (AF) in places chosen by a handling support (SM), and engaging the hooks in openings suitable for a sound insulation equipment (EI). The handling support with the equipment is introduced to an interior of a motor vehicle (VA), such that the equipment is placed near a bulkhead (TF). The hooks are engaged in the openings suitable for the bulkhead, and are integrated with the bulkhead. The handling support is released from the hooks and from the interior of the motor vehicle. An independent claim is also included for a handling support comprising a support axis.
