A method and a system for controlling a proxy apparatus by a remote device on network are provided to communicate with the remote device for initializing a message by persistent remote agents(PRAs). One or more PRA(101) performing one or more task is generated through WMCD(103). One or more PRA makes a communication with remote devices for performing one or more task. The preference of a user of WMCD is integrated within the generated on or more PRA. Preferences are stored on WMCD. Preferences are externally stored about WMCD. WMCD receives the result of one or more task from one or more remote device.
