PRINTING FEEDING UNIT AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS HAVING THE SAME

A printing medium supply unit and an image forming apparatus having the same are provided to elevate a standby position as a loading amount of printing media decreases, thereby maintaining elevating height of a printing medium loading plate uniform. A printing medium supply unit(200) comprises a printing medium loading plate(210), a pick-up roller(223) and an elevation control unit(230). The printing medium loading plate is installed to load a printing medium and be elevated. The pick-up roller lifts the printing medium to the outside of the printing medium loading plate. The printing medium loading plate is elevated between a descending standby position and a supply position elevated from the standby position by pressing and releasing the printing medium loading plate. The elevation control unit controls elevation height of the printing medium loading plate to change the standby position according to a loading amount of the printing medium.
