A user-ordered book sales method using book page division is provided to enable a book buyer to purchase only portions of essential books legally without violating intellectual property rights, thereby replacing book copying in public institutions or university libraries, while book buyers do not have to spend a lot of unnecessary money. A book segmentation digital converter(240) divides a book in pieces to make an electronic document. A book part information storage(210) stores the digitalized book parts in a DB. A book part charge data storage(220) calculates charges according to weight of the stored book parts, and stores charge data on the book parts. A book part searcher(280) enables a book buyer to search contents of the book parts. A book output selector(262) selects a searched book part, and selects an outputting method of the selected book part by the book buyer. A book part paying unit(360) enables the buyer to pay for the book part. |
