The invention provides biocidal compositions comprising a synergistic mixture of quaternary ammonium biocides and one or more ketone acids, aromatic carboxylic acids, salts thereof, or mixtures thereof. The compositions are particularly useful as preservatives for anionic preparations such as personal care products. |
