PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a transmission power from a base station from becoming excessive, even if the power to be allocated to a pilot bit becomes small and an error of a measured SIR occurs.
SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a transmission power control method for a radio communication system in which the power to be allocated to a pilot signal can be varied between a first power and a second power. When reception quality for either the first power or the second power with the greater power to be allocated to a pilot signal is measured, the reception quality is measured by using a power of a received pilot signal and a power of an interference signal thereof. When the reception quality for either the first power or the second power with the smaller allocation power is measured, the reception quality is measured by using the power of the received signal and a reception power including at least other signal portions, in addition to the pilot signal. A transmission power control signal is sent to a transmission side, in such a manner that the measured reception quality matches target reception quality.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
