PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation member having a good sense of operation with no rattling and not-too-strong reaction on thrust. SOLUTION: A supporting rib 222 and an abutting portion 214 are provided not to be superposed in the thrusting direction of a thrusting member 210. Namely, a distance from the axial center of a button shaft 213 to the inner edge of the abutting portion 214 is longer than a distance from the axial center of the button shaft 213 to the outer edge of the supporting rib 222. This prevents the abutting portion 214 from directly receiving elastic force from the supporting rib 222 when the thrusting member 210 is pushed down. The corner face of the abutting portion 214 in contact with the elastic member 220 and the corner face of the supporting rib 222 in contact with the elastic member 220 are chamfered. This prevents resistance to thrust from being stronger than required while preventing the rattling of the thrusting member 210 when the thrusting member 210 is pushed down.
