PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an epoxy resin molding material for sealing a motor, which has an excellent working environment and productivity and favorably reduces heat resistance, thermal conductivity, high-temperature water resistance and a coefficient of linear expansion and a molded article. SOLUTION: The epoxy resin molding material for sealing a motor comprises (A) an epoxy resin, (B) an epoxy resin curing agent, (C) a curing promoter, (D) an inorganic filler, (E) a silicone resin and (F) a silane coupling agent as essential components.
