PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator device capable of minimizing a damage thereto even if both sills are collided with each other at the recessed and protruded parts. SOLUTION: This elevator device comprises a platform sill 12 for guiding a platform side door 10 in a lateral direction, and a car sill 7 for moving and guiding a car side door 5 in a lateral direction. A recessed part 16 apart from the vertical projection of an engagement device 13 for engaging the platform side door 10 with the car side door 5 is formed in one of the platform sill 12 and the car sill 7 for movably guiding the platform side door 10 and the car side door 5 in lateral direction, and a protruded part 17 facing the inside of the recessed part and having a vertical projection apart from the vertical projection of the recessed part is formed on the other of the car sill 7 and the platform sill 12. Protective members 18, 19, which is broken to damp collision energy are installed on at least one of the recessed part 16 and the protruded part 17 which are likely to collide with each other when the car 2 is displaced by swing.
