<p>It is an object to make a depth position of a cornea image obtainable. A cornea observation device (100) functions as a full field type OCT device, which forms a tomographic image in the horizontal direction of cells of the cornea (Ec). A cell region extracting unit (243) extracts a cell region from this tomographic image. A cell information generating unit (244) generates cell information indicative of a cell form (size and shape) based on this cell image region. A memory unit (247) stores related information (247a) in advance in which a depth position of the cornea is related to the cell form. A depth position specifying unit (245) selects a depth position corresponding to the form of the cell of the cornea (Ec) shown in the cell information from related information (247a) and makes it the depth position of the tomographic image. A control unit (21) makes a display unit (22) display this depth position. Because of the display, an operator can grasp the depth position of the tomographic image.</p> |
