<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect small biomolecules in a sample with a simple and inexpensive facility. <P>SOLUTION: Small biomolecules in the sample S are detected optically. To put it concretely, excitation light Le is applied to the sample S including aptamer capable of interaction with small biomolecules, and measuring light L2 for measuring a photothermal effect generated in the sample S by application of the excitation light Le is applied. The photothermal effect of the sample S caused by the excitation light Le is measured from a phase change of the measuring light L2, and generation of the interaction between the small biomolecules and the aptamer is determined based on a change with time of a measuring signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
