摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device for improving detecting precision of a touch position by avoiding any influence on a sensor output signal due to AC driving in a liquid crystal display device with an optical touch sensor function. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device is provided with: a transparent substrate 11 having a plurality of dot electrodes; a plurality of sensors 13 provided to a transparent substrate 11 so as to be adjacent to at least one of dot electrodes; a gate line and a source line for individually driving each dot electrode; a sensor output line for reading a sensor output signal from each sensor 13; a display driving control part 21 for controlling an application voltage to the gate line and the source line to carry out the AC driving of each dot electrode; and a touch position recognition part 22 for recognizing the touch position on the transparent substrate 11 on the basis of the sensor output signal from each sensor 13. Only the sensor output signal from the sensor corresponding to the dot electrode with the same polarity in AC driving is used for recognizing the touch position by the touch position recognition part 22. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p>
