<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint device capable of opening and closing a gas passage in the condition that a joint piece is mounted in a plug device. <P>SOLUTION: The joint device is composed of the plug device 6 having a connection part 76 and the joint piece 4 to be mounted in the connection part 76. The joint piece 6 is equipped with a cylindrical member 8 furnished with internal space 28 and an actuating member 10 mounted in the cylindrical member 8 in such a way as movable between a first position and a second position, while the plug device 6 is fitted with a valve member mounted in a plug housing in such a way as movable between the closed position and open position. In the conditions that the joint piece 4 is separated from the plug device 6 and that the piece 4 is mounted in the connection part 6 and the actuating member 10 lies in the second position, the valve member is held in the closed position, and if the actuating member 10 is shifted from the second position to the first in the condition that the joint piece 4 is connected with the connection part 76, the actuating member 10 works so that the valve member is retained in the open position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
