<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide glass which can be molded into an article having a large size and a complicated shape; a forming method using the same; and an article obtained by the forming method. <P>SOLUTION: The glass contains, by weight,≥80% in total of at least two kinds of metal oxides. <20% Si0<SB>2</SB>, <5% B<SB>2</SB>0<SB>3</SB>, and <20% P<SB>2</SB>0<SB>5</SB>. The at least two kinds of metal oxides contain TiO<SB>2</SB>and La<SB>2</SB>0<SB>3</SB>, or TiO<SB>2</SB>and BaO.
