<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the traveling controller of a vehicle for performing motion control so that the future traveling state or traveling location of a vehicle can be matched with the intention of a driver according to the steering input of the driver. <P>SOLUTION: This vehicle traveling controller includes a means for detecting the surrounding environment of the vehicle; a means for estimating the future trajectory of the vehicle; and a means for controlling the traveling trajectory of the vehicle on the basis of surrounding environment information and the future trajectory. The traveling trajectory control means includes a means for controlling the motion of a vehicle so that the actual trajectory of the vehicle can be matched with a spot on the future trajectory where the change of steering input by a driver is executed on the basis of the surrounding environment information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
