<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic radial tire superior in driveability and braking performance on an ice and snow road surface and in control stability on a general road surface by effectively suppressing a large fall deformation of a block division part partitioned by small grooves on a block, and by effectively preventing a constriction deformation of the small groove. <P>SOLUTION: The pneumatic radial tire keeps a plurality of circumferential grooves 2 and a plurality of lateral grooves 3 arranged on a tread 1 to partition the block 4 and is provided with at least one upward projection 7 integrally connecting an opposite groove wall of the small groove 5 on the bottom part of the small groove 5 in providing a plurality of the small grooves 5 on the block 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
