PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display technology of an electronic program guide which is easier to be seen. SOLUTION: A program column 31 displays news 31 from 18:00 to 18:05 (selectable program at present) and a next program 35 from 18:05 to 18:50. When a cursor is moved to a program region, the program region is automatically scrolled like an arrow mark 37, and display control is carried out so that the program column is moved and can be seen. There is a merit that the next program can be displayed even though there is no remote control operation with time progress about the program column which the cursor hits. For example, the next program in the program guide is displayed at each time of a constant period (ΔT). When the column is transitted as shown by a mark AR1, a program shown by a mark 41 becomes a selectable program at present, moreover, afterΔT as shown by a mark AR2, a program 43 becomes selectable at present.
