PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus capable reducing a burden in color conversion processing by suppressing the number of grid points when color conversion is performed from RGB format image data to CMYK format image data by using a color conversion table corresponding to grid points of positions in an RGB color space which can be sensitively recognized by a human being. SOLUTION: A color conversion device has a configuration in which a color conversion table where grid points per hue are disposed in an RGB color space of three-dimensional orthogonal coordinate system is created, and the RGB format image data inputted is converted into CMYK format image data by using the color conversion table corresponding to the formed grid points per hue.
