PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus capable of storing detailed history of image outputs, an image processing method and an image processing program. SOLUTION: An MFP is provided with image acquisition parts (S05, S06, S07) for acquiring an image, an added information acquisition part (S12) for acquiring added information related to the acquired acquisition image, an embedding part (S13) for generating an output image obtained by adding the added information to the acquisition image, an output part (14) for outputting the acquisition image when the added information is not acquired and outputting the generated output image when the added information is acquired, and a transmission part (S15) for transmitting the output history of the acquisition image to a server. The transmission part transmits the added information together with the acquisition image as history when the added information is acquired or transmits the acquisition image as history when the added information is not acquired.
