PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stripping mechanism capable of surely operating a protective film of a circuit board or the like. SOLUTION: The protective film stripper is composed of a power part 21 and a film stripped part 22, the power part comprises a first driving member 211 and a second driving member 212. The first driving member and the second driving member provide driving forces to the film stripped part in a first axial direction and a second axial direction. The film stripper part comprises a film stripped base 221 and a film stripped head 222 rotatably pinned to the film stripped base. A rubber belt 232 laid over a pair of rubber roller 231 is laid over the film stripped head, the rubber belt on the stripped head is pressed toward to a substrate 11 fixed on a vacuum suction cup 24 by the extension and contraction operation of the first driving member in the first axial direction, the stripped head is rotated and moved by the extension and contraction operation of the second driving member in the second axial direction, and thereby the protective film is effectively exfoliated.
