PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal core substrate such that a press-fit terminal is press-fitted in a through hole with high reliability. SOLUTION: The metal core substrate 100 has a conductive metallic eyelet 30 having a hollow cylindrical main body 31. The main body 31 of the eyelet 30 is fitted in the through hole 7 and a press-fit portion 10a of the press-fit terminal 10 can be press-fitted in a hole 31a of the main body 31 of the eyelet 30. Once the press-fit portion 10a of the press-fit terminal 10 is press-fitted in the hole 31a of the eyelet 30, the press-fit portion 10a comes into contact with an inner peripheral surface of the main body 31 defining the hole 31a of the eyelet 30 with contact pressure in a diameter-increasing direction and then an electric connection between the press-fit portion 10a and the eyelet 30 is maintained.
