PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power source connecting device of a backlight device which can easily mount a cold cathode fluorescent lamp and moreover has an excellent contact with a lead of the cold cathode fluorescent lamp. SOLUTION: The power source connecting device includes a base 110 to be fixed to a substrate of the backlight device, a lamp lead housing port 120 which is fixed on the base 110 and houses a lead 10 in a space which is formed between a pair of leaf springs 122, 124 each of which is bent, a lamp tube guide 140 which is fixed on the base 110 and supports stably the lamp 10, a cam spring 150 which has elasticity and provides a recovering force to a pressurizing cam 160, and a pressurizing cam 160 which surrounds the lamp lead housing port 120 and deforms the cam spring 150 when an external force is applied and is provided with a recovering force from the cam spring 150 when the external force is removed and pressurizes the lamp lead housing port 120 with a recovering force.
