PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a configuration capable of detecting CAPA using a circuit made common to another signal processing circuit. SOLUTION: A DC-cut push-pull signal generated by a signal processing circuit where a processing circuit for detecting CAPA recorded in a disk and a processing circuit for wobble signal detection processing are made common is input to a CAPA detection circuit, a peak-bottom difference signal [Spek-Sbtm] is generated by subtracting a bottom level hold signal [Sbtm] from a peak level hold signal [Speak], and binarization processing is executed on the basis of the threshold value of the peak-bottom difference signal [Spek-Sbtm] to generate a CAPA signal. Thus, even when distortion in a waveform due to DC cutting is caused, a CAPA signal is generated without any problem to achieve accurate control. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
