PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress degradation of electro-magnetic interference (EMI) caused by the problem that peak currents generated in a plurality of signal drivers have the same timing in the whole flat display device. SOLUTION: The flat display device comprises: a display panel; a first signal driver which receives image data of a first group, and drives the display panel; a second signal driver which receives image data of a second group, and drives the display panel; first data lines 11; second data lines 12; a controller 20 which controls timing for transmitting the image data of the first group to the first signal driver via the first data lines, and which controls timing for transmitting the image data of the second group to the second signal driver via the second data lines; and a delay time generation section 23 for shifting timing when the first signal driver receives the image data of the first group, from timing when the second signal driver receives the image data of the second group, only a predetermined period.
