PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal sealant causing very low contamination to liquid crystal through processes and having excellent application working efficiency, sticking characteristics, and bonding strength to a substrate. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal sealant contains urethane (meta) acrylate A obtained through a reaction of polyol (a) principally consisting of 2-butyl-2-ethyl-1,3-propanediol, an acrylate compound B except the constituent A, and a photopolymerization initiator C.
