PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain the smooth movement of a measuring head even in long-term use, make it difficult for the measuring head to be detached from a lens frame groove even when measuring a highly curved frame, and allow stable, precise measurement. SOLUTION: The lens shape measuring apparatus has the measuring head provided on a base which is rotated with respect to a lens frame of a glasses frame and moves the measuring head along the groove of the lens frame to measure the three-dimensional shape of the lens frame on the basis of the detection result of the movement of the measuring head by a detecting means. The apparatus comprises: a first arm which is arranged rotatably in the vertical direction with a first fulcrum supported by the base as the center; a second arm which is arranged rotatably in the radial direction of the lens frame with a second fulcrum provided at a remote position from the first fulcrum of the first arm as the center; and a support shaft which is arranged so that it extends upwardly toward the tip of the second arm and to which the measuring head, which is pointed in nearly the tangential direction of a circular arc trajectory with the second fulcrum as the center, is mounted.
