PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance measuring accuracy by obtaining sharp projection image where color bleeding is suppressed without using white powder even for measured objects being translucent. SOLUTION: A measuring device includes: a light projecting means for projecting light to a measured object; an image capturing means for capturing the image of projection image by the light; a first detecting means for detecting the maximum luminance and the maximum luminance position in the image-captured projection image; a setting means for setting a separation distance position separated by a predetermined distance from the maximum luminance position in the projection image; a second detecting means for detecting the luminance at the separated position; and a processing means for processing luminance maximization to maximize the luminance difference between the maximum luminance and the luminance at the separated position.
