PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a herbicide for paddy fields and a herbicidal method of paddy fields. SOLUTION: The herbicide for paddy fields and the herbicidal method of paddy fields of the present invention comprise a constitution requirement that (A) a herbicidal triazolinone compound: 1-(2,4-dichlorophenyl)-N-(2,4-difluorophenyl)-N-isopropyl-1,5-dihydro-5-oxo-4H-1,2,4-triazole-4-carboxamide expressed by general formula (1) and at least one kind of compound selected from (B) a certain kind of herbicidal compound are used as active components.
