PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently manufacturing a homogeneous inorganic foam molding having fire-resistant nonflammable properties, lightness, heat insulating property and disposability from a solution containing a high molecular weight siloxane and silanol salt. SOLUTION: A forming apparatus is constituted of: a forming female mold base body in which a heating member encapsulating a heater is closely joined to the side face and the bottom face of a forming female mold, formed to have a predetermined size and shape by using a metal material, and a heat-insulating layer is formed on the outer surface of the heating member; a forming male mold cap body in which a heating member encapsulating a heater is closely joined to the side face and the upper face of a forming male mold and a heat-insulating layer is formed on the outer surface of the heating member; and a closing/separating mechanism press-closing and separating the forming female mold and the forming male mold. The method for manufacturing the inorganic foam molding uses the forming apparatus and releasing trays installed in the forming female mold and the forming male mold and formed from polytetrafluoroethylene, and includes an injection process, a closing process, a foaming/forming process, and a mold releasing process.
