摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a railroad vehicle capable of improving unification of temperature distribution. SOLUTION: This railroad vehicle has a compartment 17 on a side surface in the cross direction of which a side window 13 is provided. Additionally, a diffuser 23a for air conditioning is formed on a ceiling part of the compartment 17, and an inlet port 35 is formed above the side widow 13 on the wall surface side of the compartment 17. Consequently, air blown out of the diffuser 23a provided on the ceiling part flows downward toward a floor, and the air reaching the floor extends to the side wall side along the floor. Thereafter, it flows upward along the side window 13, and the air is sucked in from the inlet port 35 provided above the side window 13. Consequently, it is possible to create a flow of the air circulated in the whole of the compartment including the side wall side including the periphery of the side window 13. Especially, it is possible to improve unification of the temperature distribution and to efficiently carry out the air conditioning as the air in the periphery of the side window 13 which is high in a heat load is directly sucked.
