The method involves extruding a string (10) made up of a synthetic material for forming a core (K) of a bottle cap (V), where the bottle cap comprises a casing (H) that covers the core on lateral surface and is made up of another synthetic material. The string subsequently feeds through into a casing station (18) through a gas-liquid plastic-aerosol (27). Outer side of the bottle cap is provided with a sheathing (24), which is made up of synthetic material that forms the casing. A part forming the bottle cap is cut perpendicular to its longitudinal extension, by the string.
