<p>A planter having an outer receptacle (12), with a plurality of telescopically arranged sections with at least one aperture (16), an inner receptacle (14) inside the outer receptacle which comprises telescopically arranged sections and which has at least two apertures (24a-24d) to allow water to flow from the inner receptacle to the chamber. Locking means are also provided for locking the telescopically arranged sections of the outer receptacle and inner receptacle in a telescopically extended position. Advantageously, the planter provides a measured watering system in which a set amount of water is introduced into the inner receptacle from where it is dispersed into the plant substrate. The planter minimises the amount of water that is lost through evaporation and run-off.</p> |
