Monomer composition comprises (a) liquid N-vinyl-epsilon -caprolactam and (b) at least a N-oxyl-compound of secondary amine, which carries no hydrogen atoms at the alpha -carbon atom. An independent claim is included for use of the monomer composition for polymerization reactions, where the monomer composition is fluidly stored at above 40[deg] C and fed to the polymerization reactor when required.
