An acoustic absorption and resonance type acoustic baffle and an installing method thereof are provided to reduce a noise outputted from a transformer through an air duct. A plurality of vertical baffles(10) are built to be approximately vertical to a surface with a predetermined interval. A plurality of transverse baffles(20) are transversely installed between the vertical baffles and have a width smaller than the interval of the vertical baffles. The interval of the transverse baffles installed in an upper layer and a lower layer is one of the 600 ~ 900 mm or 300 ~ 450 mm.
