A plasma ignition burner is provided to prevent clinkering on the wall of burner barrels by conforming the direction of plasma flame to the air current direction of micro coal. A plasma ignition burner comprises a plasma generator(302) igniting micro coal in burner barrels(104,106) of at least two stages, and a bent tube(308) guiding the air containing micro coal into the burner barrels, wherein the axial direction of the plasma generator is parallel to the flow direction of the air containing micro coal and to the axial direction of the burner barrels. The combustion flame of the burner barrel generated in the former stage burner barrel is burnt with additional micro coal or air in the next stage burner barrel or it burns.
