A safety cover for an electronic multi outlet and an operating method thereof are provided to prevent bad contact due to foreign materials inserted into a plug insertion hole of the multi outlet. A safety cover for an electronic multi outlet comprises a multi outlet(1), a plug insertion hole, a safety cover(2), a spring and a hook sill. The plug insertion hole is formed in the inside of the multi outlet. And the plug is inserted into the plug insertion hole. When the plug is inserted into the bottom of the plug insertion hole, the safety cover moves downward. The spring is formed on the center of the safety cover and is compressed downward by the safety cover. The hook sills are formed on one side and the other side of a lower end of the safety cover and fixes the safety cover. The first and second fixing supports(6,7) are in one side of the lower end of the safety cover. The first and second fixing supports(6',7') are in the other side of the lower end of the safety cover.
