<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming unit and an image forming apparatus, capable of facilitating the adjustment of the distance between the centers of an image carrier and developer carrier without causing a degradation in print quality. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming unit 10 includes: a photoreceptor drum 13; a developing roller 33; end chassis 36; insertion holes 36a made in the end chassis 36; and eccentric bearings 38 inserted in the insertion holes 36a and supporting the rotating shaft 33a of the developing roller 33. For each of the eccentric bearings 38 or insertion holes 36a, two or more protrusions 38d and 38e (or protrusions 36d and 36e) for bringing the eccentric bearing 38 into press contact with the insertion hole 36a, are formed. By rotating the eccentric bearings, the distance between the centers of the photoreceptor drum 13 and developing roller 33 changes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
