<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an installation mechanism of an onboard communication equipment for improving handleability of onboard communication equipment installed on a motorcycle, and for preventing the appearance of the motorcycle from being impaired. <P>SOLUTION: The mounting structure 10a is the installation structure of an ETC onboard unit 34 as an onboard communication equipment for communicating with an external communication station in a motor cycle 12a. The ETC onboard unit 34 is provided with a main body part 42 in which an authentication memory card is stored; and an antenna 44 for transmitting and receiving information to/from a transmitter/receiver 38 of an ETC gate 36. The main body part 42 is installed outside a pair of front forks 16R and 16L for supporting the front wheel of the motorcycle 12a, and installed at the lower part of a handle 24 arranged at the upper part of a top bridge 20 connecting the front forks 16R and 16L at the upper part of the front wheel.
