<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for solving the discrepancy of a sequence number and a time stamp of a packet, while a server in a cluster form in which an active system and a standby system are duplicated is constituted, and switching from the active system to the standby system is performed smoothly. <P>SOLUTION: An active system server and a standby system server are provided, and the TCP session switching device is connected through a switch to a counter terminal. A controller of the active system server acquires socket information from a socket unit, a TCP unit and an IP unit. At the time of system switch, packet transmission/reception by the active system server is stopped, and a request signal which shows a request of system switch to the standby system server, and the acquired socket information are transmitted to the standby system server. When a controller of the standby system server receives the request signal and the socket information, the received socket information is set by the controller at the socket unit, the TCP unit, and the IP unit of the standby system server, and the packet transmission/reception by the standby system server is started. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
